1. The “I Had A Dream About You” Line. It’s really stupid, because most of the times it’s being used, he never saw you. He doesn’t even have the slightest thought of what you look like. You were just vaguely part of his dream, and that’s supposed to make you feel flattered, ‘cause Weirdo here supposedly couldn’t stop thinking about you that his subconscious created a character to represent you in his perverted dreams. Which is all lies of course, meant to make an impression to grab your attention.
2. Bringing Up Marriage and How He’s Considering It. This is probably one of the most sexist idiotic ways to grab a girl’s attention. How it’s done is that he starts flirting with you or whatever, and once he senses you’re not as interested or that he’s not being treated so uniquely, he’ll toy around with the idea of marriage with you. He’ll ask you about it, and express that he wants to get married soon. This, in his mind, will switch something on in your head making him more interesting to you. It’ll supposedly make you think “Oh golly! This guy is serious, he might even marry me!”. He is not serious, he just wants to please his ego because you bruised it when you didn’t fall head over heels when he payed you attention.
